Cookie Policy
What this website stores in your browser and why.

What are cookies?
Cookies are small files a website stores on your device to remember information between visits. This site does not use cookies at all — it uses browser local storage instead, which works similarly but is never transmitted to a server with your requests.
No tracking cookies
This website sets no tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any similar third-party tracking technology, and we do not share data with advertising partners.
What we actually store
Three items, all in your browser's local storage and all strictly functional: einc-theme records your dark or light theme choice; einc-liked followed by an article name records which articles you have liked, so the button still shows as liked when you return; einc-consent records your choice on the cookie notice so we do not ask again. None of these are sent to any server and none contain personal data.
Your choices
The notice shown on your first visit lets you accept or limit storage to essentials. Your choice is remembered and can be changed at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings. Until you choose, nothing beyond the strictly functional items above is stored.
If we add analytics later
Should we introduce analytics in future, it will be loaded only after you have given explicit consent through the notice on this site. Silence is never treated as consent, and this policy will be updated before any such change takes effect.
Managing storage in your browser
You can clear or block site data from your browser settings — in Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge this is found under privacy or site-data settings. The site will continue to work normally; it will simply fall back to your system colour preference and forget which articles you liked.
